Fringe joins Arts in the Dark, a magical evening State Street parade celebrating Halloween as the “artist’s holiday.” Now in its fifth year, this extraordinary city-supported event has delighted hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors with unique floats, spectacle puppets and creative performances that are exceptionally dramatic set against the backdrop of Chicago’s majestic skyline. CFO returns to the parade line with a devilish brand new float in homage to Mozart, joining musical forces with the Chicago Public Schools’ All-City Performing Arts Program.

The parade will take place at State Street from Lake to Van Buren.

As dusk arrives, our creative communities will assemble for a powerful procession filled with large spectacle, legions of lanterns, costumes, performances, music, dance, dramatic lighting, floats and more!
