Think the Savannah Bananas, but make it opera. And kickball.

Chicago Fringe Opera takes on Great Lakes Operetta in OPERABALL, a six-inning kickball game where opera meets over-the-top ballpark entertainment. Expect live singing, ridiculous in-game antics, friendly competition, and plenty of surprises as Chicago’s opera singers trade the stage for the field.

Join us at River Park on Saturday, August 29 from 3–6 PM for an afternoon of opera, kickball, and general chaos.

Admission is free, and donations are encouraged. Bring a blanket, grab a spot on the sidelines, and cheer on your favorite team. No opera knowledge—or athletic ability—required.
